I found that the food was very tasty, although it seemed to chill quickly. We loved the beans, but didn't care for the cole slaw, if we were to eat there again we would probably request to substitute the cole slaw for more beans. We really liked the creativity in the seating options, its was beautiful. The only thing that we did not like was this strange bird/duck that had a very long bill that was jumping up and eating people's food and running around. We solved this problem easily though by moving to a different seating hut.
Pros:
Plenty of seatingCons:

We love Flame Tree and always eat lunch here when in Animal Kingdom. The meat portions are large and folks could easily split a plate. Lunch is a bit pricy, but what Disney restaurant is not? We had a free DDP so it was not an issue. Service was quick.
Pros:
Large portions and good food quality; quick serviceCons:

This is a great value if you are on the DDP. However, by the time we got to our table the food was barely warm.
DD and I had the chicken and rib combo. It was tasty.
Pros:
great value for DDPCons:

If you're on the DDP and looking for the best bang for your buck, then this is one of the best counter service options in all of WDW, and by far the best option at AK.
We came here 5 years ago, and my dad (75) must have demanded that we return here about a dozen times during our December trip planning.
Needless to say, we were again thrilled with the quantity and quality of the FTB. In fact, if you're on the quick service DDP, unless you want to eat here twice in one day, you'll do well to eat a late lunch here, and then have another CS dinner at one of the resorts or another park.
There's just not much else at AK that's worthy of a CS credit.
