“Return To Sleepy Hollow” at Fort Wilderness Begins Sept. 28

Starting this September 28, the "Return to Sleepy Hollow" program will once again be offered at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. The experience includes a group viewing of the 1949 Disney animated film "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" inside the historic Tri-Circle-D Ranch stables. During event nights, you'll see galloping ghosts and experience an up-close encounter with the Headless Horseman. New this year, a dessert party will be available at 9 p.m., either after the 8 p.m. movie or prior to the 10 p.m. showing.

Avengers and Other Super Heroes to Assemble at Disney Parks around the World

At Disneyland Resort, a new Super Hero-themed land will begin recruiting guests in 2020, with even more new experiences to follow. The Guardians of the Galaxy will be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe, furthering the evolution of Disney California Adventure park. This new land will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, in the adjacent space that is currently occupied by "a bug's land." "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed March 19 to make way for this new heroic experience; the rest of the land will close late in 2018.

The Easter Bunny is now appearing at Magic Kingdom's Town Square Courtyard with Mrs. Bunny through April 1 (Easter Sunday). On March 31 and April 1, a special pre-parade will make its way down Main Street, U.S.A., that will feature Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, Daisy, Duck, Thumper and Ms. Bunny, White Rabbit, Yellow Rabbit, Clara Cluck, Hippos, Ostriches, Dancing Chicks and the Azalea Trail Maids from Mobile, Alabama. The Walt Disney Company Announces Strategic Reorganization

The Walt Disney Company announced a strategic reorganization of its businesses into four segments: the newly-formed Direct-to-Consumer and International; the combined Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products; Media Networks; and Studio Entertainment. The reorganization is effective immediately. Kevin Mayer, who has served as Disney's Chief Strategy Officer since 2015, has been named Chairman of the new Direct-to-Consumer and International business segment. Bob Chapek, Chairman, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, will assume additional responsibility for all of Disney's consumer products operations globally, including licensing and Disney stores, as Chairman of the new Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products business segment. The Disney Media Networks business segment is co-chaired by Ben Sherwood, President, Disney|ABC Television Group, and James Pitaro, who was recently named President of ESPN and previously served as Chairman, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. The Media Networks segment will remain virtually the same. The Studio Entertainment business segment is led by Alan F. Horn, Chairman, The Walt Disney Studios, and remains virtually the same, with the exception of the management of program sales moving to the Direct-to-Consumer and International business segment.
