NEWS: Air Conditioning OUT For 3 Days At Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

When you’re on vacation at Disney World, you probably expect it to be nothing short of magical. After all, it is the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Sometimes, even the Disney Bubble has rough moments. And guests at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge had to find that out the hard way this week!

We heard rumors that Disney’s Wilderness Lodge resort has had no air conditioning since Thursday, so we had to check it out. And we can confirm that the resort is as hot as a sauna! The place is covered in portable AC machines like this one in Roaring Fork.

We also found another smaller one in Roaring Fork.  Although it didn’t help as much as the larger one, so if you’ll be dining there during the outage, then make sure to choose a cool seat!

Cast Members also set up these water stations all around the resort, and they’re doing an amazing job at keeping them ice-cold for the guests. It’s so hot that this was like an oasis in the desert, and we’re giving them all Cast Compliments ASAP!

If this ever happens to you, Disney hotel rooms almost always include a ceiling fan, and they usually offer complimentary portable fans upon request that you can keep in your room during your stay. However, these are a limited quantity and aren’t enough to accommodate an entire resort. In all our years of reporting, we’ve never seen an AC outage last this long.
