Why Every Savannah Bananas Fan Will Be Watching Disney+ In October

Disney has been getting a little “bananas” lately, as in Banana Ball.

ABC recently announced that Savannah Bananas’ second baseman, Jackson Olson, will compete on the new season of Dancing With The Stars. ESPN and Disney+ are even streaming Banana Ball games, with select games airing on ESPN and ABC. Well, now, get read for MORE Bananas because The Banana Bowl championship is officially coming to Disney+.

This fall, Disney+ will be the U.S. streaming home of the Banana Ball League’s championship, which will stream in October. The Banana Bowl will bring together all six Banana Ball teams for the big streaming event. You’ll also be able to watch the Banana Bowl on Disney’s YouTube channel.

Banana Ball will also be heading to Disney World on May 29th-39th at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, hosting the Party Animals against the Loco Beach Coconuts. On July 23rd, Banana Ball will host an event at Dunkin Park in Hartford, CT, near ESPN’s headquarters, featuring the Party Animals and Clowns.

Banana Ball is a fast-paced and entertaining version of baseball created by the Savannah Bananas. The games are shorter than regular baseball and geared more towards the audience. Games only last two hours and combine sports, entertainment, and audience participation. Oh, and there’s also a lot of dancing.
