April 2nd Is Going To Be a BIG Day for Disney Fans!

The start of April is going to be a big one for Disney fans, and we’re not expecting the momentum to slow anytime soon — not with so many Disney projects underway!

April brings Easter festivities to the parks and hotels, as well as the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend, the reopening of the refurbished Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and, as we recently found out, the on-sale date for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event tickets!

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will happen from August 14th to 16th in Anaheim, California this year. Every other year, this large event happens in Anaheim, and in its off years, you’ll find a smaller version of the event happening in Disney World (often at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort).

At this HUGE event, it’s often when we hear big news about upcoming Disney movies and TV shows, as well as news about upcoming lands, attractions, and more at Disney’s theme parks around the world. It’s a big deal for Disney fans, which is why we know lots of people will be setting their alarms for April 2nd to get the ticket of their choice.

However, things are not that straightforward — first of all, you do need to be a D23 Gold Member to purchase tickets for this event, which is the paid membership. It goes deeper, though –– D23 Gold Charter Members will be able to buy tickets first, starting on March 31st at 10 AM PT. Then, D23 Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete Plans will be allowed to buy tickets starting on April 2nd at 10 AM PT. Finally, those who have a complimentary D23 Gold membership through Disney+ will be able to purchase their tickets on April 2nd at 12 PM PT (noon). There are also multiple different levels of tickets available, so we suggest looking ahead of time to see what you’re interested in.

Each Gold Member can purchase tickets for themselves and up to five guests, and those guests do not have to be D23 Gold members.
