The Grand Floridian Resort‘s tea room is open now! The Garden View Lounge Tea Room closed in 2020 (along with the rest of Disney World) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but just reopened today, March 19th, 2026, with so many changes!
The reimagined Garden View Lounge Tea Room has a brand new reception, interior, and menu. Here are all of the exciting new changes in action!
The tea room has a new entrance, featuring updated signage, greenery, and decor.
There’s a new sign hiding in the corner.
Plus, there are new gorgeous stained glass windows! They have the prettiest bird designs.
The reimagined menu is Alice in Wonderland themed, with some great teas, including the Orangery of Lady Grey, a black tea with citrus and bergamot that’s exclusive to the Garden View Lounge Tea Room!
There are so many brand-new bites like the Matcha Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar Cucumber Roll, and the Tweedledee Egg Salad Sandwich, along with the return of their classic Orange-Cranberry Scones.
Now that the tea room is reopened, it’s important to note that they don’t currently offer walk-ins. The tea room is considered a dining experience by Disney, so it’s currently reservation-only! Cast Members suggested checking the day before for last minute reservations, due to their current cancelation policy.
