The New Hat Every Disney Adult Will Be Wearing to Disney California Adventure

After years and years of wearing Minnie ears to the Disney Parks every day of my trip, I’ve finally started switching to hats!

Don’t worry, the Minnie ears still get some love, but when the area behind my ears starts to get sore, I know it’s time to switch. Whether you’ve always been a hat person or you’re trying something new, we’ve rounded up the best new hats that are perfect to wear to Disney California Adventure!

This park has gone through some major changes since it opened, and it now includes lands themed to so many beloved movies. But we can’t forget about the mice who started it all! Check out the Mickey and Minnie Courduroy Patch Hat.

This list would not be complete without a Cars Logo Trucker Hat! Cars Land opened in 2012, and it has remained one of the most popular spots in the park.

Although you should remove it to ride Radiator Springs Racers (you don’t want it flying off!), this is perfect for exploring the land, meeting Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater, and enjoying a treat from Cozy Cone.

If you like to be prepared, this next hat is for you. It’s the Avatar: Fire and Ash Movie Trucker Hat!

You may be wondering why there is an Avatar hat on this list for Disney California Adventure. That’s because an all-new Avatar land is coming to the park! There is no exact opening timeline just yet, but it will replace Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! (which closes in early 2026). Until it opens, you can also wear it on your trips to Disney’s Animal Kingdom when you visit Pandora!

Oogie Boogie Bash may be a seasonal event, but people plan their entire year around it. That’s why we’d happily sport this Oogie Boogie Baseball Cap in the park any day!

This grey hat can be paired with any park outfit, and there’s no mistaking who it’s all about. Is it just me, or is that smile adorably evil?!
