Picture this: You wake up at your Disneyland hotel, get ready, and can walk directly into the parks without so much as setting foot in a vehicle. It’s one of the biggest perks about staying at a Disneyland hotel on property, and one we think is totally worth it.

Back in August, though, Disneyland announced some sweeping changes that will impact how guests at one particular hotel go about this. The dedicated park entrance to Disneyland at Pixar Place Hotel will be ending soon, and we’ve got all the details.
Heads up! As of January 5, 2026, Disneyland will discontinue the dedicated entrance to Disney California Adventure from the Pixar Place Hotel. This entrance provided guests staying at Pixar Place with their own entrance to the park, eliminating the need to use the regular turnstiles at the park’s entrance.

Instead, hotel guests will be able to use the dedicated Grand Californian Hotel entrance after January 5th.

Keep in mind that Disney has also confirmed that Early Entry perks for Disneyland hotel guests are soon to be discontinued. This long-time perk for Disneyland Resort hotel guests will be permanently discontinued beginning January 5th, 2026. This means that all Disneyland Resort hotel guests will no longer be able to enter either theme park 30 minutes earlier than the normal posted park opening time.

However, instead of the 30-minute early entry to the park, hotel guests of Disneyland Resort will be given one Lightning Lane pass for any Multi Pass eligible attraction. This means that the complimentary Lightning Lane pass cannot be used on Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland or Radiator Springs Racers in Disney California Adventure, as they both do not fall under the options listed in Lightning Lane Multi Pass attractions. Any other Multi Pass attractions are fair game, though.

While this perk for hotel guests will soon be discontinued, there is still time for those who have currently booked a stay at Disneyland Resort or those considering a stay at the hotel for their upcoming trips to still enjoy the early entry perk.

Very curious to see if Disney World follows suit with axing Early Entry.
