Most recently, we’ve seen some new restaurants open their doors, including Centrico, Paseo, and Tiendita, as well as Din Tai Fung. More restaurants are on the way, including Porto’s Bakery and Cafe. However, a celebrity chef is about to move into Disneyland’s shopping and dining district: Gordon Ramsay. Yes, that’s right, Gordon Ramsay is bringing a restaurant to Downtown Disney.

The new restaurant is Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, and it’s a British-themed gastropub being created in partnership from the creators of Earl of Sandwich and Chef Gordon Ramsay. “The pub will bring the Brit pop energy of the swinging ‘60s London, whilst a selection of Gordon Ramsay’s iconic and delicious British classic dishes delivers culinary star power.”

The new restaurant will be located on top of the new Earl of Sandwich and will have design features that channel London’s Carnaby Street during the 1960s. That will include “plush interiors, iconic British pop art, and an irresistible sound of ‘British Invasion’ rock bands.’ There will even be live music during select evenings.

The restaurant will also feature two outdoor terraces, a “lively bar area,” and “signature booths.”

But what about the food? The menu will feature classic British dishes, like Chef Ramsay’s beef Wellington, fish and chips, and sticky toffee pudding. There will also be a “wide-ranging list of wines and beers, as well as an imaginative selection of signature cocktails, each crafted to evoke the spirit of London’s most iconic pubs and lounges.”

Chef Gordon Ramsay will be added to the list of Downtown Disney celebrity chefs, including Carlos Gaytán of Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita, and Joe Isidori of the upcoming Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, and Pearl’s Roadside BBQ.
