NEWS: 2 Buses Catch Fire Near Epic Universe

If you’re visiting Universal Orlando today, you might face some delays due to a situation developing near Epic Universe.

That’s because WESH is reporting that two tour buses are on fire near Epic Universe.

One of WESH’s news helicopters was flying overhead when it caught footage of Orange County Fire Rescue at the scene of two charred tour buses. At the time, crews were still putting water on the smoldering vehicles.

We don’t have any more details at this time or whether these tour buses belonged to Universal or another party. We also don’t know how the buses caught fire or if anyone was on the buses at the time. We also don’t know if there were any injuries as a result of the fire, but it does seem mostly contained at this time.

However, Universal has made a statement following the incident: “We’re grateful to the Orange County fire department for their swift response. Safety remains our top priority.”
