This NEW Disney Villain Might Be The Reason I Buy A Ticket To Oogie Boogie Bash

This is Disneyland’s Halloween special ticketed event with tons of specialty snacks, rare characters, low crowds, and more! This event sells out quickly for a reason, and Disney’s latest teaser has us even more excited for the event.

If you’re ready to celebrate the spooky season with Oogie Boogie, you’ve come to the right place. This special after-hours event kicks off on August 17th and goes until October 31st, and we are ready to go!

Oogie Boogie Bash

Disney recently teased the arrival of two characters that have us itching for the party to kick off. One of the best parts about this event is seeing those rare characters that we love but are never hanging out at the theme parks, and it seems like 2025’s bash is no different. Over on Instagram, Disney Parks teased the return of a popular character by writing, “Where torns creep in the shadows and heroes fade behind the darkness… Dare to guess which two villains are joining #OogieBoogieBash.”

The video opens with heavy green smoke. Add that together with the thorns reference, and we feel pretty confident in saying Maleficent is returning to the party! The original baddie is a hit for each party, and we can’t wait to see her iconic horns in the shadows.

The second character Disney teased had us screaming! The green smoke then fades to a blue smoke, where Syndrom’s wrist controller rolls into the frame, confirming he is the new character coming to the party! In case you aren’t familiar with this character, he is the villain from The Incredibles who delivers one of the coldest lines of all time. “Once everyone is super, no one will be.” You can see the full video below.

The party will feature several famous villainous faces and will take place periodically through the months it’s available. The tickets for the party range from $139 to $199 and give you access to enter the park up to 3 hours before the official party begins. The party then kicks off at 6 PM and lasts for 5 hours!

The event also gives you access to Immersive Treat Trails, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and Mickey’s Trick and Treat Show, as well as other entertainment throughout the night! In addition to the villains, you can also spot classic characters like Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus.
