It wouldn’t be Halloween without trick-or-treating, would it?
And Disneyland is letting guests of all ages (yes, even adults) get all the candy their hearts desire, because the immersive Treat Trails have returned to Oogie Boogie Bash this year! But, they’re lookin a little bit different because 3 new villains are taking the stage. Dare to find out more? We’re here to give you a full look at the immersive Treat Trails at Oogie Boogie Bash!
When guests enter Oogie Boogie Bash, they are given a candy bag to take around Disney California Adventure Park with them for the evening. Our bag had an advertisement for the upcoming Muppets Haunted Mansion special — just like the ones in Disney World for Boo Bash!
Guests also have a park map that indicates where the candy stations are located around the park. Here’s where all the locations are:
- Pixar Pier – Sid
- Cars Land
- Avengers Campus – Agatha Harkless
- Bountiful Valley Hideaway – Dr. Facilier
- Disney Animation – Oogie Boogie
- Hyperion Theater – Mad Hatter
- Hollywood Backlot – Cruella de Vil
- Buena Vista Street
- Grizzly Peak Airfield – Maleficent
- Grizzly Peak – Evil Queen
Of course, certain sections are themed to match the newest villains we encounter on the Treat Trails at Oogie Boogie Bash. You’ll be able to find scary Sid from Toy Story, who was honestly giving us the creeps.
Then, we found the fabulous Cruella, from her latest live-action film, in all of her glory.
Here’s a closer look!
Over at Avengers Campus, we went to find a certain evil witch who was hiding out inside the Ancient Sanctum, where Dr. Strange usually is (foreshadowing, anyone??).
Of course, we picked up some treats on our way in!
We were so excited to see Agatha from WandaVision inside causing chaos.
We know she’s evil but…you just gotta love her!
It’s been Agatha all along.

Then, we headed over to see some old favorites in the Treat Trails!
It’s not Halloween without the Evil Queen. Just don’t let her give you any treats…like candy apples.
Definitely opt for actual candy from the Cast Members!
There are also allergy friendly options we spotted around the party.
We then went and saw the wild Mad Hatter…
…the mysterious Dr. Facilier…
…and the spectacular Maleficent, the dark fairy (good thing she was invited to this party, otherwise we might have another spinning wheel incident!).
Finally, of course, we saw the host of the party himself, Mr. Oogie Boogie!
And with our treat bags full of candy, we came to the end of our Treat Trail adventures at Oogie Boogie Bash. We loved seeing all of these awesome characters and hope you get to check them out, too! Stay tuned to All Ears for the latest Disney entertainment and news.
