Following the massive success of Shang-Chi‘s record-breaking theatrical run, it seems that Disney is all in on theatrical releases for their 2021 slate.
Today, we learned more about the nature of Disney’s upcoming movie debuts!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney will be releasing its last three movies of the year exclusively in theaters. That means if you want to see Encanto, Eternals, or West Side Story right away, you’ll have to make your way over to the theaters.
There’s no word yet if these films will come to Disney+ immediately after their theatrical run, like the smash hit film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings which had a 45-day exclusive theatrical release.
