These Hokas Lasted Through a 25-Hour Speech on Capitol Hill – I'm Buying a Pair for Disney World

You may have heard that recently, Senator Cory Booker just broke the record for the longest speech ever made on the Senate floor, a.k.a. the Senate talkathon record, by standing and speaking for 25 hours and five minutes straight.

The record was previously held by Sen. Strom Thurmond, who, decades prior, spoke for 24 hours and eighteen minutes straight. While there are many factors that go into being able to stand and speak for that long without sitting down or taking a break, one of the biggest questions we had was about what shoes he was wearing!
