If you weren’t able to make it to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event last year, or you were there and just want to feel that magic again, D23 Gold members will want to take advantage of this opportunity!

D23 is Disney’s Official Fan Club and while a general membership is free, a Gold membership costs an annual fee but ALSO comes with special access to events other members don’t have. If you’re a D23 Gold member, there’s a FREE event happening later this month that you can attend anywhere in the world, you just need internet access!

On Thursday, April 24th at 5 PM PT (8 PM ET), D23 Gold members have the opportunity to virtually step into the D23 Gold Theater for “A Beautiful Tomorrow—Just a Dream Away: Disney at the 1964–65 New York World’s Fair.”

During this presentation, Disney historians and critics Leonard and Jessie Maltin will revisit the popular “A Beautiful Tomorrow” panel seen at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event with new anecdotes and commentary. You’ll get to learn all about the iconic New York World’s Fair that debuted incredible Disney attractions such as “it’s a small world,” Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, and the Carousel of Progress.

Also featured in this one-time rebroadcasting event will be Pete Docter, Ramsey Avery, Becky Cline, Ted Ryan, and Tom Fitzgerald, as well as a surprise from the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Again, this is completely free for D23 Gold members, which is a pretty fantastic offering, if you ask us.
