4 Unspoken Rules for This Year's EPCOT Festival of the Arts

We were there for the opening day of this year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and we are sharing all we know with you.

The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs through February 24th and brings a TON of delicious eats, gorgeous art, and fun entertainment to the park. But for you to have a great festival day, these are the rules you’re going to want to follow.

1. See the Smallest Details

While EPCOT festivals are known for their food and drinks, don’t overlook the small, beautiful details of this festival. The Chalk Art Walk is one of those that you could easily miss. It’s located on the walkway to the World Showcase so make sure you’re looking down — just don’t bump into anyone!

Also, don’t forget to stop for those photo ops! These are fun and a quick thing to do while walking around EPCOT.

2. Plan for More Time in EPCOT

When there is a festival going on at EPCOT, you’ll want to add more time to your plans. That’s because in addition to riding attractions, seeing shows, and enjoying the park, you’ll have a ton of festival-specific things to do!

There is festival entertainment to see, merchandise to look at, and food to try! You don’t want to rush your way through the park so plan on spending more time than you normally would here on your vacation.

3. Check the Weather

That’s right, while you might always check the weather before your Disney World trip anyway, but this is especially important at this festival. If it rains, you could miss out on seeing some of the entertainment offerings.

The chalk art might also wash away during a big rainstorm, which would be a big bummer to miss! You might also see some of the art tents close or move their art under the tent, making it a little hard to see it all. Try to plan your EPCOT day on a nice, sunny day if possible!

4. Make a Plan
