The Companion Pass allows travelers to experience the benefits of the Rapid Rewards program when traveling with a friend. To qualify to use the Companion Pass, a Rapid Rewards member must register for the promotion, purchase a qualifying Southwest flight, travel by November 20th, and then designate a companion to fly with you during the Companion Pass window of January 6th-March 6th, 2025.

One VERY important thing to note is that the initial flight must be purchased by the end of the day TODAY (September 5th). To qualify, it must be a round-trip or two one-way flights, and you’ll need to travel before November 20th. Once you take that flight and register for the program, only THEN can you designate your companion for a flight in 2025.
