Indeed it was Agatha all along…

When Marvel’s WandaVision premiered on Disney+ in 2021, Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness quickly became the show’s breakout character, with fans enthralled by her performance as well as the character’s twisting backstory. A spinoff starring the character was first announced in November of 2021, and the title — after several false names were released as a viral marketing move — was confirmed to be Agatha All Along (named after the character’s song from WandaVision) in May of 2024.
Now, Disney has released a teaser trailer for the show!
On July 8th, Disney released a brand-new teaser trailer for the series across their social media platforms.
The trailer depicts Hahn’s Harkness being awoken from the spell she was put under at the climax of WandaVision and remembering who she really is. From there, the character is seen assembling her own coven to regain her powers.
Marvel’s official synopsis for the series reads, “In Agatha All Along, the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…”

In addition to Hahn’s return, the series features a mixture of new cast members and those returning from WandaVision including Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfield, Maria Dizzi, Ali Ahn, and Holly Ward.
There has been no confirmation as to whether Elizabeth Olsen will be appearing in the series as her longtime MCU character Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. However, given Marvel’s penchant for secrecy as well as the fact that the character is mentioned directly in the trailer, we wouldn’t rule it out.

Agatha All Along is the second Disney+ series, and third overall MCU project scheduled for 2024. The first two episodes of the series are scheduled to premiere on the streaming service on September 18th.
