Have you ever thought about how everyone does Disney World a little bit differently?

Maybe some are single-minded in their love for the rides, while others are here only for the food, and others still are all about lounging and enjoying all their Disney World hotel has to offer. Speaking of those hotels, we wanted to have a chat about how Gen Z approaches Disney World hotels differently than the rest. Let’s go!
Forget those overpriced cocktails and endless room service (well, maybe not entirely), Gen Z is here to shake up how things are done at Disney World hotels. Here’s a bit about how they’re doing Disney stays a little differently:
Strategic Splurging
This generation knows what they want (just have a look at what’s on their Instagram feed). While past Disney trips might have been all about cramming in every single park ride, Gen Z is more likely to splurge on a truly unforgettable hotel experience.

Even if it means splitting their stay between a budget-friendly and a deluxe resort, that one night in a themed room is totally worth it!
Resort Hopping with a Twist
Resort hopping has a whole new meaning for Gen Z. Forget the pub crawls of the past. Gen Z is all about the “coffee crawl.”

They’re on a mission to find the most unique and Instagrammable drinks across all the resorts. A seasonal Mickey latte at the Grand Floridian? Done! A unique Glow-in-the-Dark Dole Whip at the Polynesian Village Resort? Absolutely! It’s all about the experience (and the perfect photo op, of course).
Lounges for Food, Not Drinks
Now, don’t get them wrong. Statistically, Gen Z is option for no- or low-alcohol drinks more than other generations. So when it comes to Disney hotel lounges, they’re really there for the delicious (and often more budget-friendly) options.

Think yummy flatbreads, shareable plates, and other unique snacks all for a fraction of the price of a signature restaurant meal. It’s the perfect way to fuel up for a long day of park hopping without breaking the bank!
Insta-Worthy Factor
Okay, let’s be real. The aesthetics matter. When choosing a Disney World hotel, the Insta-Worthy factor definitely plays a role.

Whether it’s capturing the iconic Polynesian bungalows as they’re bathed in the golden hues of sunset, the balcony views of the savanna at Animal Kingdom Lodge, or the unique, larger-than-life characters adorning the walls at Art of Animation, their hotel choice is a chance to create some seriously envy-inducing content.

So there you have it! That’s a bit of how Gen Z is doing the Disney World hotels in a way all their own, and we’d love to hear from you!
