Why Some Disney Adults Are Spending $2600 to Attend This Event

One of the biggest events of the year is coming up!

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is taking place from August 9th-11th this year in Anaheim, CA. The three-day event includes a TON of special offerings like panels, showcases, and exhibitions that cover all kinds of Disney fan topics. And usually, the event includes some pretty major announcements as well. That’s why some people are paying $1000 to attend!

Tickets for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event are available in a few different price points, depending on how much of the event you’d like to access. If you would just like to visit the Anaheim Convention Center portion of the vent, you can get the D23 Fan Pass in 1-day or 3-day options for between $79 and $259 per person.

However, if you would also like to attend the Disney Entertainment Showcase, the Disney Experiences Showcase, and the Disney Legends Ceremony at the Honda Center, you’ll need to get the D23 Ultimate Fan Pass. These are also available in 1-day and 3-day tickets for either $99 or $297.

For those who want the top-tier peak experience, there’s the D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass. This ticket is $999 per person and includes access to everything the event has to offer, plus preferred floor seating. This means you’ll get the best view during those major panels!

But it doesn’t stop there! You can upgrade to even CLOSER seating within the preferred section for a higher price. The most expensive ticket option is $2599 and includes seating in the 100-level sections 101-103.

WOW! So whether you’re hoping to shell out $100 or thousands to attend this event, tickets go on sale March 26th at 12PM PT for D23 Gold Members. On March 27th at 12PM PT, D23 Gold Members and D23 General Members who are Visa Cardholders can purchase tickets, and then on March 28th at 12PM PT, ticket sales open to all D23 Members.
