ALERT! Multi-Park Genie+ Is SOLD OUT for Disney World Today

There are a few major weeks of the year when you might want to avoid Disney World.

The holiday breaks around Christmas, New Year, and Thanksgiving often bring heavy crowds to the parks. But in March and April, the big problem is Spring Break! This week kicks off the Spring Break season, and if you’re heading to Disney World soon, we’ve got some warnings.

On the morning of Monday, March 11th, Disney Genie+ sold out for the Multiple Parks option. You can still buy Genie+ for the four parks individually, but if you’re trying to visit multiple parks, purchasing it twice for two different parks isn’t exactly the most cost-effective solution.

So for those visiting Disney World this week (and throughout the rest of the month), we HIGHLY recommend that you make your Genie+ purchases as soon as possible. Genie+ goes on sale at midnight, and bookings for Genie+ Lightning Lanes open at 7AM. Lightning Lanes will book up quickly, so make sure you set that alarm to reserve the first one right away!

For the more popular rides, you can purchase Individual Lightning Lanes to shorten your wait time. For Individual Lightning Lanes, you can only purchase two per day. By 10AM on Monday, March 11th, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Avatar Flight of Passage Individual Lightning Lanes were all already sold out.

For Individual Lightning Lanes, those staying at Disney World Resorts can book at 7AM. Anyone staying off property will need to wait and book at park opening time. We’ve seen that resort perk come in handy on occasion during these particularly busy weeks — sometimes Individual Lightning Lanes will sell out before the park even opens!
