We are about to just “LET IT GO.”
That’s because we’re at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort checking out the all-new World of Frozen experiences. We’re eating all the eats, checking out the entertainment, and riding the two NEW rides there, including World of Frozen’s version of Frozen Ever After.
If you’ve ever visited Disney World, you’ve probably been on this ride in EPCOT. So this ride is basically a direct copy of the one in EPCOT, but the biggest difference is that the ride space was made specifically for that ride (if you’ll recall, Frozen Ever After took the place of Maelstrom, so the basic “bones” of that ride remained the same).
There are some new effects, though, like a snowflake that explodes on the door right before you see Elsa. The biggest difference from the EPCOT ride, though, is the animatronics — they’ve been upgraded with fully articulated faces (the EPCOT version features projection faces). So, let’s hop on this ride for the first time (in forever).

We were surprised that the drop during “Let It Go” felt a little steeper or higher than the one in EPCOT, too. This makes the whole scene feel a lot more dramatic.
