Did We Just Get a MAJOR CLUE About a NEW Universal Land?

Anyone else looking forward to the NEW Universal Epic Universe expansion? We know we are!

While anticipation builds for this expansion, we are keeping our eyes out for any new information that comes out and it looks like we got just that! Universal dropped a BIG clue about this expansion, and now it is time to talk about it.

The new DreamWorks land will be opening at Universal Studios in 2024. While Universal hasn’t released an exact timeline yet, we are on the edge of our seats waiting for announcements! This land is going to be family-friendly and really bring your favorite DreamWorks characters to life.

With a new land comes new job openings, which means job applications being posted online. These can give us a hints about what is coming with this expansion and we’re here to give you all the details.

Right now, they are accepting applications for animated show performers, dancers, singers and even puppeteers! They are looking for proficiency in certain styles like jazz and hip-hop for dancers, and pop-style vocals and theatrical acting for the singers. Whatever show they have up their sleeve… we CAN’T wait to see it.

Universal is requiring availability for these performers in February and March for rehearsals so maybe this could be another clue for when this land is going to open.

Along with what is seemingly a stage show cast, they are also hiring for voice actors! They’re looking for someone who can recreate the voice of Po from Kung Fu Panda and who also can perform this voice while moving. Universal is also hiring someone who is able to recreate the voice of Donkey from Shrek. For this role, they also want someone with puppetry experience!

These job postings didn’t give a lot away, but it for sure gives us enough to get excited! It sounds like they have big plans for these stage shows and other entertainment offerings around the land. Don’t forget to check back in at AllEars for updates!
