ALERT: The FIRST Holiday Decorations Have Appeared in Disney World!

It’s hard to believe it, but the holidays are basically here!

Many people have started their holiday shopping (which may or may not include some Disney merchandise…) and Disney World is getting to host not one, but TWO holiday parties this year. Now, we’ve spotted the first holiday decorations of the year and we just had to show you!

We headed over to Animal Kingdom on October 24th where we noticed something new — it’s the park’s holiday decor!

Above Island Mercantile, you’ll find the holiday animal heads have returned. We’ve seen these in past years and we’re excited to welcome them back (even if they are a little early for some people).

We also spotted these above Discovery Island Trading Co.

Check out the owl spreading its wings over the Island Mercantile entrance!

Over in the Asia area of the park next to Feathered Friends in Flight, you’ll find the Diwali lanterns.

Think these are beautiful now? Just wait until you see them at night!

If you’re spending the holidays in Disney World, remember that the Merry Menagerie puppets will be returning to Animal Kingdom again this year!
