It's Official: Tiana's Palace Restaurant Takes a Big Step Toward Opening!

Disneyland is in the middle of a big transformation.

With it, new dining experiences are underway. We’ve already tried some of the new eats that have arrived for the Big Hero 6-themed land coming to Disney California Adventure. Over in Disneyland Park, a new dining location is taking over the old French Market — Tiana’s Palace Restaurant — and it’s set to open later this year. Today, we spotted a new addition at this restaurant that is getting us excited for its debut!

Tiana’s Palace, which Disney has described as having a “mouthwatering menu, exceptional entertainment, and warmhearted hospitality,” got a few significant updates last month — a new paint scheme and green striped awnings.

But today, a major addition has been made to the facade — the restaurant now has its sign!

The area is really starting to transform, with new gold and green accents and lights surrounding the new sign.

You can see the resemblance to the concept art Disney shared earlier this year.

Above “Tiana’s Palace,” they’ve even added the crowned “T,” with golden crown accents on the surrounding columns.
