Since Disney World reopened in the summer of 2020, experiences slowly started returning to the parks.

Now in 2023, the parks are almost back to a “normal” status with character dining spots back, special experiences returning, and more. Now, we’ve got exciting news about a fan-favorite meet-and-greet!
Disney has officially confirmed that the meet and greet at Ariel’s Grotto in Magic Kingdom is returning! The meet and greet will officially reopen on January 22nd, 2023.

Ariel’s Grotto is located in Fantasyland near Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid. This meet and greet spot has been closed since the parks closed in 2020, but it’s coming back!

We’ll continue to update as we get more details about the return of this character experience, so stay tuned for more. In the meantime, read about Enchanted Tales With Belle returning to Magic Kingdom as well!
