Flying on United Airlines? Your Plane Could Look Different Soon!

If you’re planning on flying United Airlines in the near future, you might end up on some brand new planes! The airline company has placed an order from Boeing for over 100 new airplanes to add to their fleet, according to Click Orlando.

These planes will replace old, aging planes that are nearing retirement. United stated they are adding both Boeing 737 Max planes for domestic flights as well as Boeing 787s, which are larger jetliners. The airline is hoping to expand its international travel, which is exciting!

This new deal between United Airlines and Boeing sounds like some welcome positivity for two companies that have gone through some recent challenges. United, like many other airlines, lost money during the pandemic while would-be travelers stayed home. Boeing is also struggling to recover after a variety of issues, including production flaws, and other setbacks.
