There’s been some chilly weather in Orlando lately! And, as a result, we’ve seen the water parks at both Disney World and Universal Orlando close temporarily.
Most recently, Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park extended its closure into the weekend and now it seems that inclement weather is causing a similar situation over at Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay.
Today, Universal Orlando posted a Tweet indicating that Volcano Bay water park will be closed tomorrow, November 28th, due to inclement weather. And, if their emoji choice is any hint to what that weather could be, then we can probably expect some cooler temperatures this weekend!

Volcano Bay will be closed on Sunday, November 28, due to inclement weather. For park updates, please call 407-817-8317 or stay tuned to Universal Orlando’s social channels.— Universal Orlando Resort (@UniversalORL) November 27, 2021
Cold weather isn’t really the best time to be splashing around! But for now, the park is scheduled to resume its normal operating hours (10AM-5PM) on Monday, November 29th.
