The Disney Princesses are a major part of the Disney theme parks!

They have castles, restaurants, and rides, along with a countless amount of merchandise. Simply put, the parks would not be the same if it weren’t for the Disney Princesses, so they should be celebrated. And soon, you can do exactly that! The first-ever World Princess Week starts next week — here’s what to expect.
World Princess Week is part of the festivities for Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration. Disney will be sharing the latest on new products, digital content, unique offerings from the parks and resorts, and more. So, let’s take a look at how you can celebrate in Disney World next week!

Beginning on August 23rd, there will be a new Tiana-themed playground at EPCOT for the Food and Wine Festival!

There will also be themed food and drinks around Disney World inspired by the 14 Disney Princesses as well as Anna and Elsa from Frozen.

On August 26th, a Princess Promenade will take place in Disney Springs at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage! Bring your little princesses to Disney Springs Marketplace to participate. The promenade will take place from 2-6PM and for one day only! Costumes are encouraged and guests will get to see a princess-themed entertainment performance.

While you’re at Disney Springs, make sure to check out the latest Princess-inspired merchandise and get a pic in front of the three art expression walls that are themed to the “Tales of Courage and Kindness” storybook collection.

Finally, there will be Movies Under the Stars at the Walt Disney World Resorts! This will feature a line-up of Disney Princess movies, so you can enjoy the fairy tales from your hotel!

And, don’t forget, the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend races go on sale next week — August 24th! The weekend is in Walt Disney World from February 24th-27th, so the races will take place during the 50th anniversary celebration.

Also, a new Princess Loungewear collection will launch at Disney World on August 23rd! Some of the new items are T-shirts and velour sweatshirts and jogger pants featuring fairytale lyrics, Princess silhouettes, and aspirational Princess mottos. The collection will also be available on shopDisney and at Disneyland Resort.

That’s everything going on in Disney World next week for World Princess Week! We’ll keep you updated on everything going on around the parks, so stay tuned to All Ears for more.
