The new action-comedy, Free Guy, premiered in theaters this weekend.

In the film, Ryan Reynolds portrays a non-playable video game character named Guy in a game called “Free City.” Once he realizes he’s living in a fictional world, Guy tries to become the game’s hero.
The movie has performed well since its release on August 13th, and it’s projected to top the box office this weekend with an estimated $26 million in ticket sales.

According to a Saturday tweet from Reynolds, it appears Disney is happy with the film’s debut. He wrote, “Aaaannnnd after 3 years messaging #FreeGuy as an original IP movie, Disney confirmed today they officially want a sequel. Woo hoo! #irony.”
