PHOTOS: Sneak Peek at the Butterbeer Bar Coming to Harry Potter New York

Here at AllEars, we’re pretty big Potterheads and we know that a lot of our readers are as well!

We love to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando and try our favorite treats from the books, shop merchandise to match our house colors, and step inside scenes from the movies themselves. But if you can’t make it all the way to Orlando, then there’s an experience you NEED to check out a little further up the east coast!

Harry Potter New York in New York City is an experience like no other for a Harry Potter fan. This location is about to be home to a MASSIVE store with 15 different themed areas, and now we know that visitors will also be able to experience New York’s first-ever Butterbeer Bar!

The Butterbeer Bar is opening along with the rest of Harry Potter New York on June 3rd, and inside, fans will be able to have the iconic beverage in many forms: freshly poured, served in a souvenir tankard, or even as a scoop of ice cream. While the drink has been in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter since 2010, this marks its first time being served in New York, and it’s definitely going to be “magical!”

This official bottled version of the beverage is brewed in the U.K. and comes with an exclusive label designed by MinaLima, the duo in charge of graphic design for the Fantastic Beasts films. These bottles will be a big feature of the bar’s design as well, and there will even be a new collectible label design released specially for the Harry Potter New York grand opening.
