If you’ve ever wanted to know how the rides at Disney work, then the newest offering from the Disney Parks Blog is going to be a must read!

In their latest post, Disney has unveiled the science behind Hollywood Studios‘ Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and even provides instructions on how to make your OWN roller coaster launch!
Disney has just shared some of the science and technology behind how the limo vehicle gets up to 60 mph in just a matter of seconds (hint: it’s magnets). To learn all about it, check out the video below from some Disney mechanical engineers.
If you want to take it a step further and make a model of the roller coaster launching system at home, just follow the instructions below.

Now we can build roller coasters all over our homes. If we could just figure out how to build Splash Mountain at home!
