We totally love Disney’s over-the-top incredible attention to detail and theming.

That’s part of what makes it so magical! And one of the best places for a crazy fun and themed meal is the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater at Hollywood Studios, where you travel back to 1957 and head to the drive-in. Here, you can enjoy signature burgers and shakes as you sit in an old convertible and watch clips from cheesy sci-fi films!

And today, February 2, 2020, they are doing something EXTRA special!

If you’ve visited Sci-Fi before, you may be familiar with one particular clip that plays:

It’s a cute little cartoon that talks about how you’ll be able to get a “ticket to Mars” and blast off! And the ticket in the cartoon is dated 2/2/2020!

So of course, Sci-Fi had to add some extra fun for guests dining today — starting with handing out tickets to diners for their own “Blast Offs to Mars!”

There are also a few treats available today only! First up, a Special Milkshake. (This is Sci-fi after all and shakes are their specialty!)

It’s a Red Velvet Milkshake with a White Chocolate Medallion to mark the occasion.

The sweets don’t stop there, as there’s also a special dessert called the Mars Bar Candy Bar.

This has a vanilla short bread crust, and is topped with chocolate and salted caramel mousse. On the side you’ll find caramel gelato on top of a raspberry sauce, and the Mars medallion again!

These desserts and tickets are only available today, and we have to appreciate Sci-fi’s attention to detail and celebrating their classic Mars cartoon! Stuff like this is what makes Walt Disney World so special.
