Give Kids the World will be hosting two special events featuring Disney Legends this summer. The first event welcomes Tom Nabbe, Bill Sullivan and Bill Hoelscher marking the 64th anniversary of Disneyland Resort.

The second event will feature Paige O’Hara, voice of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and  Linda Larkin, voice of Jasmine from Aladdin.

An Evening with Tom Nabbe, Bill Sullivan and Bill Hoelscher

Tom Nabbe, Bill Sullivan and Bill Hoelscher will share stories of their Disney careers, stretching from the Disneyland’s launch to the opening of Walt Disney World.

Learn about Tom Nabbe :

Nabbe spent almost 50 years with Disney in an array of management roles. He helped open Walt Disney World, was part of the Epcot project, and helped oversee a variety of attractions at Magic Kingdom. In 2003, he was honored with a window on Main Street. He was named a Disney Legend in 2005.

Learn about Bill Sullivan:

Sullivan spent almost 40 years with Disney, starting as a ticket-taker on the Jungle Cruise in 1955 and ending his career as Vice President of the Magic Kingdom in 1994. Sullivan oversaw the development of Epcot and Disneyland Paris. For his contributions to the company, Sullivan was designated a Disney Legend in 2005.

Learn about Bill Hoelscher:

Hoelscher began his career at Disneyland in 1955 as a busboy. In more than 30 years with Disney, he served as manager of the Preview Center for Walt Disney World, Manager of Ticket Sales, Guest Relations, outdoor recreation  and the Fort Wilderness Campground. From 1972 to 1989, he worked as manager of Disney University, Director of Resort Operations, and Manager of Cast Activities.

Paige O’Hara, voice of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Linda Larkin, voice of Jasmine from Aladdin, will share stories of the magic behind the scenes of these loved Disney characters.

Give Kids the World Village is a nonprofit vacation resort for critically ill children and their families. Since 1986, Give Kids The World Village has welcomed more than 165,000 families to its 84-acre “storybook” resort in Central Florida. Children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free vacations, complete with accommodations, donated attraction tickets, meals and more.
