Last week, The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) reported quarterly earnings for its second fiscal quarter ended April 1, 2017. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter increased 15 percent to $1.50 from $1.30 in the prior-year quarter.
