Disney’s most controversial theme park is getting an unprecedented upgrade, and with it comes all kinds of changes… including new Cast Member costumes!

The spring of 2026 will see Walt Disney Studios Park at the Disneyland Paris Resort — which first opened in 2002, and has been long-derided by fans as well as even Disney itself in The Imagineering Story — transformed into Disney Adventure World. The newly expanded park will feature new lands that trade in the barebones studio “theming” for heavily immersive environments, new attractions, and some sparkling new looks.
Recently, the official Instagram account of the Disneyland Paris ambassador took a behind-the-scenes look at some of the newly transformed park’s new costumes.
The, which is captioned with “Today, I’m trying the costumes I’ll be wearing at Disney Adventure World! Come with me to my costume fitting backstage and meet the Cast Members behind their creation!”
A main focus of the clip is the costumes for the park’s new World of Frozen land, a full environment based on the film series featuring an installation of Frozen Ever After as its centerpiece. Costume designer Karine names her inspirations for the land’s costumes, including the villagers from the film…

… traditional Norwegian dress…

… and the well-known Norwegian art of Rosemaling.

In addition, Karine discusses the inspiration for the costumes of the new Adventure Way and Adventure Bay areas – which feature several attractions including the Raiponce Tangled Spin and the Regal View Restaurant & Lounge all of which provide views over a new body of water, home to the Disney Cascade of Lights nighttime spectacular — which will have a 1920s, art nouveau look that matches the ares’ architecture.

From there, quality manager Andrea discusses the operational necessities of well-fitting costumes, including meeting safety regulations.

The rollout of Studios’ transformation into Adventure World is ongoing throughout the early months of 2026. Furthermore, a Lion King area — including a long flume attraction based on the 1994 animated classic — is scheduled to be added to the park as well.
Stay tuned to AllEars for more on the park’s transformation.
