This Is the Most UNIQUE Way To Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of 'Harry Potter'

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is turning 25 years old! To celebrate the movie’s silver anniversary, Warner Bros Discovery is taking Hogwarts somewhere unexpected.

The yearly Back to Hogwarts celebration will entail special screenings, themed activities, and a nighttime fireworks show. For 2026, it will be held on Saturday, August 29th, at the Palace of Versailles!

The sold-out event will be held at the Gardens of the Palace of Versailles on August 29th from 8:30 PM to 11:15 PM. Wizards and witches of all ages are asked to come in the color of their Hogwarts house to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary.

You can take a whimsical stroll through the Gardens of Versailles and discover iconic moments inspired by the wizarding world. At night, the gardens’ illuminated fountains and water displays will come alive to the Harry Potter films’ soundtracks!

The highlight of the celebration will be a nighttime spectacular fireworks show! Combining drone ballets and pyrotechnics, the sky above the Château de Versailles will light up for a magical moment. The show will be “where historical heritage meets fantastical imagination,” described by Versailles.

This is only what’s been announced – Warner Bros. stated this will be a full day of entertainment, but only the night itinerary has been released! We have a feeling some magical surprises are in store for us.
