Last month, The Walt Disney Company announced that Josh D’Amaro would be the new Chief Executive Officer, and that means his previous position, the Chairman of Disney Experiences, became available.
The Walt Disney Company just announced that Thomas Mazloum would be the new Chairman of Disney Experiences.
Mazloum has held senior leadership roles at the Walt Disney World Resort before becoming President of Disney Signature Experiences. He is familiar with a long-term strategic growth plan that included doubling the size of the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
Before working for Disney, he worked in European luxury hospitality, where he gained experience across high-end hotels in food and beverages, guest services, and hotel operations. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of Crystal Cruise Line.
D’Amaro said, “Thomas Mazloum is an exceptional leader with a genuine appreciation for our Cast Members and a proven track record of delivering growth. His focus on service excellence, broad international leadership, and strong connection to the creativity that brings out stories to life make him the right leader to guide Disney Experiences into its next chapter.”
Disney also announced that Jill Estorino will become President of Disneyland Resort, Tasia Filippatos will be President of Disney Parks International, and Lisa Baldzicki will become President of Disney Consumer Products.
