When it comes to grabbing souvenirs from Disney World, it’s hard to find something that ISN’T expensive.
One of the most common souvenirs to grab in the parks is Loungefly bags, and we totally understand why! They’re adorable, make for great park bags, and there are so many different designs out there that everyone can usually find something they like. However, we’ll be the first to admit that sometimes it’s NOT the best course of action to pay $70 for a Loungefly bag in the parks, and it’s better to grab it online ahead of your trip!
For one, you can find major discounts online that you often can’t find elsewhere. Even if you’re an Annual Passholder or a Disney Vacation Club member and get discounts in the parks, sometimes you can find bags like the Mickey and Friends Classic Crossbody Bag online for 45% off, like it is right now!
Saving money is a BIG help when it comes to Disney vacations, as they’re so expensive already. If you’re able to find a bag you love online AND save a big chunk of cash on it, that’s a massive win in our book.
Secondly, there are tons of designs you can find online that are often not available inside the Disney World parks! Sometimes this is because these designs are online exclusives, while other times, they sell out quickly in stores, but are available online for months to come. For example, we’ve never seen the Disney Princess Stained Glass: Sleeping Beauty Loungefly Backpack in stores, but it’s easy to snag online!
In this case, one of the biggest reasons this one isn’t available in the parks is because of that price point — $170! We’d also hate for someone on vacation to grab a Loungefly in the parks they’re not totally in love with just to grab one, only to find out there’s one online that they love a whole lot more. We really recommend looking ahead of your trip so you know what your options are!
Organizing your bag is also easier said than done, because sometimes the design of a Loungefly just isn’t the most ideal. You won’t find any organizational help in the parks when you buy a bag there, but you can purchase something like the HOYOFO Mini Backpack Organizer Insert online ahead of time to be prepared!
This organizer has saved us countless times, especially when we’ve got smaller essentials like tissues, chapstick, a sunscreen stick, or a pouch to help with additional hydration. It fits easily inside Loungefly bags and turns one giant pocket into multiple.
As much as we love Minnie ears and how cute they make our outfits, we’re also the first to admit that they can begin to hurt QUICKLY. That’s where an essential like the Mouse Ear Holder comes in, but again, these aren’t sold in the parks.
This can easily clip onto your Loungefly, or any bag for that matter, and snaps around your pair of ears to keep them secure when you’re not wearing them. This is something we’ve found to really regret NOT having with us when we forget it at home, since we don’t want to shove our ears in our (already full) bag and ruin them, but we don’t want to be in pain with them on our head the whole time either.
