If you subscribe to Disney+, there’s probably a good chance you subscribe to Hulu, too, since the two can be so easily bundled together. Eventually, this year, the two streaming subscription services will just become one under the Disney+ app.

Until then, though, Hulu still sort of operates separately, and like Disney+, the streamer recently updated its subscriber agreement. We’re going to go through those changes so you’re aware of what it’s all about.
The new Hulu terms went into effect on February 5th for new subscribers. For previous and existing subscribers, the new terms will start on March 25th unless you go into the app and acknowledge the new agreement earlier.
One of the changes is that Hulu has added additional details about its billing and payment process, as well as defined subscription terms and billing periods. These new details outline tiers of service, subscription billing and auto-renewal, free trials and promotions, and more.

The new subscriber agreement also has more clarification on how cancellation works and when it’s effective. It also outlines the streamer’s refund policy.

Finally, the new subscriber agreement has added new details about gift cards purchased through ESPN. The new details read as follows: “The purchase and redemption of ESPN gift subscription cards are subject to the Terms and Conditions for ESPN Subscription Cards, which you can review at: https://disneyterms.com/espnpluscard.”

We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney+ and Hulu news and keep you updated, so stay tuned to AllEars for more.

Do you subscribe to Hulu? What are some of your favorite shows? Let us know in the comments!

General Hospital is the main reason I subscribed to Hulu.
I am a Hulu TV subscriber. I pay $99 for my service, which includes ESPN and Disney. I must say my favorite app by far is Hulu, and it’s not because of the content but the functionality of the apps. Disney’s app is geared toward my kids and my parents. It’s not built for the broader public. I hope they are planning to revamp it or something, as I will go back to YouTube TV. Hulu felt like a high-end cable provider with functionality similar to Netflix.
I watch 911and The Rookie and movies. We appreciate good movies.
