Last year, Universal Orlando opened its highly-anticipated third park, Epic Universe, and yes, we’ve been MULTIPLE times to visit the park’s five portals and ride ALL the rides.

Well, you might be wondering just how successful Epic Universe has been for Universal and its parent company, Comcast. Well, Comcast recently revealed its fourth quarter financial details, and let’s just say that theme park revenue for the company is WAY up.
According to Comcast’s fourth quarter earnings report for 2025, theme park revenue was up 21.9 percent from the same time the previous year, with much of that successful performance attributed to the opening of Epic Universe in Universal Orlando in May 2025.

Likewise, Universal theme parks crossed the $1 billion mark in quarterly earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization for the first time EVER. So, basically, Epic Universe has helped Universal theme parks make a lot of extra revenue for the company.

However, Comcast’s film division also reported some successful figures for the fourth quarter. Film revenue was up 7.4 percent, thanks to the Wicked franchise, which has reached $1.3 billion worldwide. The second film in the franchise released in November 2025.

The company also saw advertising revenue increase by 5.5 percent, driven by “a strong performance at Peacock and sports.” This is partially offset by lower political advertising this year versus last year. Peacock revenue was up 23 percent to a record $1.6 billion, while subscriber numbers increased by 22 percent to 44 million subscriptions.

So if you’ve been wondering how Comcast has been doing as a company, those numbers are now available for the fourth quarter of 2026.
