Your Next Trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Just Got 10x Better

Hollywood Studios just brought back a hidden little oasis.

Walls are finally down!

It’s been a while since we’ve spotted construction walls littering Toy Story Land, and with its latest snack spot’s grand opening recently, we figured the last of the walls wouldn’t be long behind. Now that Disney’s finally taken down the last of the construction walls around this land, we have our first look at the refreshed seating area that has long been a divisive “love it or hate it” kinda thing. While you might not have totally loved it (or noticed it enough to stop before), here’s why it might become your new favorite break spot.

If you’ve ever found yourself wandering around Disney’s Hollywood Studios desperately looking for a place to sit, cool off, and eat your snacks in peace…there’s some good news. A newly refurbished seating area has officially reopened in the park after being closed for several months, and it’s already shaping up to be a really welcome addition.

It’s open!

This refreshed seating zone is located in that oddly quiet stretch of the park between Toy Story Land and the side entrance to Galaxy’s Edge — you know, the one that always feels like a secret shortcut, but never had much going on before. For months, this space was blocked off as Disney worked on a revamped look and feel, leaving a noticeable gap in one of the park’s few shaded resting spots.

Newly refurbished seating

Now that it’s reopened, the area features updated tables, fresh landscaping, and a cleaner, more inviting layout that feels intentionally designed for guests to actually linger as opposed to the few outdoor table and chair sets that felt a little more haphazardly thrown into this area previously. This new update also brought the addition of a standing area, too!

Standing area added

While it’s not a flashy addition or a new attraction, it’s the kind of practical update that makes a real difference during long park days, especially when Toy Story Land is at peak heat and crowd levels!

Great spot for a break

This seating area is particularly useful if you’ve just grabbed food from nearby quick-service locations like Woody’s Lunch Box, Popcorn and Snacks stand, which just opened, or if you’re coming from Galaxy’s Edge with drinks or snacks in hand. It also works nicely as a quiet regrouping spot if you need a moment to recharge before heading into another ride queue.

It’s almost tucked away from the rest of the crowds

The placement is arguably the best part. Sitting right along a high-traffic pathway but still tucked slightly off to the side, it feels like a hidden little break zone that many folks may not immediately notice, which means it could stay less crowded than more obvious seating areas around the park.

Looks like it’s closely tied to Galaxy’s Edge

While Disney hasn’t announced any major theming changes tied to the refurbishment, the space now feels brighter, cleaner, and far more usable than before. It’s not the kind of update that gets a big fanfare, but for frequent visitors and summer park-goers especially, it’s one of those small wins that adds up.

So if you’re heading to Hollywood Studios soon, keep an eye out for this refreshed seating area; your feet (and your patience) will thank you!
