Disney Announces More Registration Availability for runDisney Races

Well, if you’ve thought about signing up and end up waiting too late when sign-ups are all sold out, we’ve got some great news for you: runDisney is adding more registration availability for future events.

Disney recently announced that beginning with the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend, there will be more registration availability for 5K races across all four Disney World race weekends. That means you’ll have more of an opportunity to sign up before the 5K events sell out.

The 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend starts on October 15th and runs through October 25th. Registration for Club runDisney members starts on February 3rd, while registration for the general public starts on February 10th. It’s still a good idea to register early because the event is still limited, but more people will be able to sign up for the 5K than ever before.

The extended registration availability will extend to events for the 2026-2027 runDisney season, including the 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend from January 6th-10th, 2027. There’s also the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend from February 25th through March 1st and the 2027 Springtime Surprise Weekend from April 15th through April 18th, 2027.
