7 runDisney Dates You Need To Know

Runners, are you ready? The runDisney events throughout the year are a great way for runners to add some Disney to their running routines. Whether it’s a virtual race or an in-person event at Disney World or Disneyland, these events make running so much fun.

If you’re looking to participate in some future runDisney events, we’ve got a full list of every event for the runDisney 2026-2027 race season. There’s a little something for everyone, so check it out!

Here are all the events for the 2026 through 2027 runDisney race season:

Disney World

• 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend: October 22nd-25th, 2026. Registration starts on February 3rd, 2026 for Club runDisney members and February 10th, 2026 for general public
• 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend: January 6th-10th, 2027. Registration starts on March 10th, 2026 for Club runDisney members and March 17th, 2026 for general public

• 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend: February 25th-March 1st, 2027. Registration starts on May 26th, 2026 for Club runDisney members and June 2nd, 2026 for general public
• 2027 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend: April 15th-18th, 2027. Registration starts on June 30th, 2026 for Club runDisney members and July 7th, 2026 for general public

Virtual Races

• 2026 runDisney Virtual Series: June 1st-August 31st, 2026. Registration starts on April 7th, 2026
• 2026 runDisney Virtual Spooktacular: October 1st-31st, 2026. Registration starts on August 11th, 2026.
• 2026 runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas: December 1st-31st, 2026. Registration starts on October 6th, 2026

If you’re planning on participating, you’ll want to register as early as you can. Many of these races sell out quickly! In return, you’ll get some cool medals, access to sweet merchandise, and more.

If you’re not a runner, you may want to be aware of these dates for planning your Disney World trips in 2026 and 2027. Race weekends tend to bring crowds and long lines to the park, so you may want to plan your vacation around those.
