From planning our goals to grabbing dining reservations, there are lots of ways to help your trip run as smoothly as possible. The number one way to plan for the unexpected is to pack every Disney necessity. These are the 11 essentials we won’t go to the parks without!
If it’s raining, you can be sure that we’ll have our Frogg Togg with us. Even if it’s not, this thing is waiting in our bag just in case. It’s super water-resistant to keep us dry even in the strongest storms. It dries super quickly, and it doesn’t cling to us, making us feel sticky, overwhelmed, or hot. Plus, it comes with a carrying case, so when the rain is done, we pack it up, toss it in our bag, and don’t worry about it again.
If you’re worried about getting hot (which most people are), you need to try this AMKEN Waist Fan.
This outdoor waist fan attaches to your shirt or pants to slide easily under your shirt for hours of cooling. It has 3 different speeds, it’s rechargeable, and you can use it even outside of Disney World. It offers up to 24 hours of continuous cooling, which sounds like magic on a summer Disney day.

To keep our phones alive all day, we’ve been loving the Fuel RodMax 10 portable charger.
This is the newest form of the Fuel Rods, and we love them! This one lasts for hours throughout the day and has MagSafe capabilities so it can attach to your phone easily. Once the battery dies, no worries! You can swap it for free throughout the park for a fully charged power bank. While you can buy them online, they are cheaper online at the time of writing.
Ponchos aren’t everyone’s rain gear of choice, so we also keep a Mini Travel Umbrella with us!
This travel mini umbrella isn’t just for rainy days! This umbrella is equipped with UV technology to protect your skin from the sun and your head from the rain. We love a product that we can use for multiple reasons, and this is certainly that. It’s the perfect size for a solo traveler and comes with a carrying case so you can wrap it up tight before throwing it in your bag once the weather passes.
We also need to protect our shoes in those summer storms! That’s where these Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers come in.
There is nothing worse than soggy tennis shoes on a hot summer day when you’re walking a few miles. They weigh you down and make your toes all wrinkly, which we hate with a passion. This next one is niche but necessary! A Popcorn Bucket Band will save you and your snack from disaster.
Disney World popcorn buckets can help you keep salt snacks on hand at all times at an affordable cost. We have tons of them, but after a while, the lids aren’t as sturdy as we need them to be. This band holds the lid in place, making it so that we can toss these buckets around as frequently as needed on the biggest thrill rides without the fear of spilling even a single kernel.

This insert fits in most Loungeflie, and it features tons of pockets, zipper pouches, and more to keep your things organized. This has helped us avoid digging in our bag searching for sunscreen or chargers on so many occasions that we never want to go without it. A true Disney World must is getting enough water throughout the day. The Rapunzel Owala Water Bottle is the cutest way to do so.
We are huge fans of the Owala water bottle, especially when it’s Disney-themed! This bottle is 24 oz, and it will keep your water ice cold for hours. There are a lot of things to charge for your trips these days, so we always toss this MagicBand Multi Charger in our bags!
This multi-charger is perfect for groups traveling together who want their MagicBands to light up along with the parks. It works to charge 4 MagicBands at a time using only one outlet, so each night is easier, and it will cut down on arguments about who gets to charge what first! It’s also super small, so you don’t even notice it in your bag.
Finally, we have the Flat Plug Power Strip.
We weren’t joking when we said there are fights in our hotel rooms when it comes to charging devices. Disney has been adding more outlets to each hotel room over the years, but we still have a lot of devices! Items like power banks, cell phones, MagicBands, tablets, and even cameras all need that electric juice, and this power strip will provide. It features 3 traditional plug-ins, plus 2 USB ports and 2 USB-C ports. It’s also pretty small, so it won’t take up too much room in your luggage.
