Disneyland Paris is currently undergoing a pretty major transformation, and we just got an opening timeline for a new restaurant we’ve been waiting for.
In their shopping district, Disney Village, similar to our Downtown Disney and Disney Springs, a new McDonald’s is coming soon!
This will be the largest McDonald’s in France and will open in early 2026. It will be located right next to the current restaurant, which opened in 1999 and will close when the new version opens.
This McDonald’s features a unique architecture designed exclusively for Disneyland Paris. There will be playful nods to Disneyland Paris and promises of “many surprises McDonald’s has in store.” The design highlights bright, plant-filled spaces, and families can enjoy meals indoors or outdoors.
Sports Bar & Lounge will be opening in Disney Village on November 22nd! This restaurant has been under refurbishment for several months, expanding the dining area and redesigning the space with new greenery and a fresh, contemporary interior.
They also reimagined the food and beverage offerings and will be sponsored by Coca-Cola. Inside, there will be artwork, sports memorabilia, and TVs to watch sports events. There will also be a giant fresco featuring Goofy from the short film How to Play Football and one of Big Hero 6: The Series on he restaurant’s facade.
The food looks incredible! There will be breakfast, with plenty of asteries and snacks, and dinners to enjoy. Some of the plates will be large enough to easily share across the table.
Have you seen the new Lion King area coming to Disneyland Paris? It will feature the very first Lion King attraction, and I can’t wait to check it out for myself when it opens in 2026.
