This NEW Streaming App is Completely FREE and Entirely Nostalgic

FREE! We all love the word, and now we get to use it in regard to a streaming service? What alternate dimension did we step into?

It’s true, though! After just receiving news that another streaming service would see a price INCREASE (the news we’re unfortunately more accustomed to seeing), and being worried that some of our PBS favorites would no longer be available or hard to find, there’s great news coming out of Scholastic — there’s a new FREE Scholastic streaming service available right now!

Scholastic has just announced its new FREE streaming service, ScholasticTV, thanks to a partnership between 9 Story Media Group and Future Today. It’s currently available through Roku and Amazon Fire TV, but additional platforms are to follow.

Designed for kids aged 2-12 and their families (and the adults like us who want to watch some of our favorite shows from when we were little), there are over 400 hours of content to watch, including but not limited to Clifford the Big Red Dog, The Magic School Bus, Goosebumps, Clifford’s Really Big Movie, The Baby-Sitters Club and Animorphs.

This new addition comes as part of Scholastic’s mission to reach kids everywhere. Future Today has already partnered with other global brands, including Moonbug, LEGO, Chuck E. Cheese, and more. In a recent statement, Elianne Friend, VP of Digital & Distribution at 9 Story, said, “We’re seeing strong demand for quality nostalgic content, and the Scholastic brand is trusted by families everywhere.
