NEWS: Disney+ Bundle Price Increases Will Begin October 21st

More movies and titles are able to be streamed on Disney’s various streaming apps than ever before — and it shows! In Disney’s recent quarterly reports we’ve come to learn that they’ve got big plans in store for their streaming services with new shows, movies, and perks being added constantly. They’ve also spoken heavily about the emphasis the company is putting into their streaming revenue and now we may see more evidence of them continuing to lean into this revenue stream even more.

It goes without saying there’s been some HUGE changes around Disney’s streamable content over the last few months and they’ve added some exciting new offerings to their library. Disney+’s streaming library has grown exponentially since it’s initial launch just a few short years ago and it’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

When Disney initially started bundling streaming services with other popular streaming apps like Hulu, ESPN, and HBO MAX, they were not shy when it came to talking about growth in the future and how the company was increasing their revenue focus around these streaming bundles.

Disney just announced changes to its bundle services pricing that will take effect soon. Subscribers who enjoy Disney+ and Hulu with ads bundled together will see a price increase from the current $10.99 per month to $12.99. Additionally, those who also bundle in HBO Max with Disney+ and Hulu can expect pricing to increase from $16.99 per month to $19.99. These new prices will go into effect beginning October 21st.

Disney’s also offering a deal where subscribers can save up to 39% off a Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN bundle plan with ads. This plan is priced at $29.99 per month; however, there is also an option for this bundle without ads with savings, too.

While Disney has specifically called attention to price increases in these streaming bundles, they do not note changes in other bundles offered at this time.

As we mentioned before, Disney has spoken numerous times about the potential for increased revenue for the company around such popular resources and how they hoped that would translate into the value subscribers are getting for what they’re paying. With new titles and perks being added so often, it seems that Disney is looking to make good on that promise that folks can expect to find better value in these streaming products as they continue to build on it.
