Disney Adults Are BEGGING for This Ride To Come to Disney World

Disney has some SERIOUSLY cool rides in its theme parks around the globe.

The Lantern Festival

If your home resort is Disney World, it can be easy to be jealous of some of the attractions at the international parks or even over on the West Coast at Disneyland Resort. That’s why we reached out to our followers on Facebook — to ask them which Disney rides they’d bring to Disney World!

When we posted this question on Facebook, we specifically asked: “What ride from another Disney park do you want to come to Disney World?”

Our readers had a lot to say, but there were some rides that were WAY more popular than others. Let’s see the top contenders!

Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival in Tokyo

Starting the list out strong is one of Tokyo DisneySea’s newer rides, part of the Fantasy Springs expansion. Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival is an entire ride dedicated to the hit film Tangled, and it even takes you through the movie’s iconic lantern scene!

Here in Disney World, the best that we get is some Rapunzel-themed bathrooms. Sure, they’re pretty, but a ride would be amazing for all the Tangled fans out there…of which there are MANY.

Pirates of the Caribbean in Shanghai

The Shanghai Disneyland version of Pirates of the Caribbean is often recognized as the “best” version of the ride — there, it’s called Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure.

It’s incredibly technologically advanced, and it’s more of a love letter to the films than true to the original ride story. It opened in 2016, so it’s significantly newer than Magic Kingdom’s version from 1973.

Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast in Tokyo

Another attraction that people tend to praise in Tokyo is Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast. This one is inside Tokyo Disneyland and it takes riders (in teacups!) through the story of the animated Beauty and the Beast.

This one is known for having some pretty incredible animatronics and special effects, and it often gets a rather long wait time. Here in Disney World, Belle gets two shows and a themed area, but no rides!

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride in Disneyland

If you’re a fan of nostalgic Magic Kingdom, you might be among the group who said they wished Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride would come back to the East Coast. This ride currently still exists at Disneyland Park.

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride

True to its name, it’s a pretty wild ride, telling the story of Mr. Toad getting drunk and going to Hell. Yep, this might be difficult to explain to your little ones.

Crush’s Coaster in Paris

Paris gets a mention with Crush’s Coaster in Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be renamed Disney Adventure World). It’s park dark ride, part coaster, all totally rad, dude.

You’ll see some of your favorite characters from the Finding Nemo franchise and then you’ll take off on a spinny, curvy coaster ride. It’s definitely one of the park’s most popular offerings.

Matterhorn in Disneyland

Last but not least, one of the most popular answers was the Matterhorn in Disneyland Park. This one’s kind of like the mix between Expedition Everest and Space Mountain, and yet, it’s something completely unique and rather herky jerky.

The Matterhorn in Disneyland

It’s one of Disneyland’s most historic and iconic rides, and it’s a must-do for many, so we’re not surprised to see it on the list. We’d be interested to see which park people think it should go in, though.
