Reporting LIVE: A Complete Guide To Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2025

It’s officially spooky season in Florida, so get ready to grab your candy buckets, Mickey pumpkins, and your favorite costumes to celebrate.

We’re ready to party!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has started for 2025, and we’re bringing you along with us. From treats, entertainment, and way, way, WAY too much candy, we’re giving you all the details so you can prepare for your visit to Magic Kingdom.

Disney Vacation Planner

This separately ticketed after-hours event runs on select nights in Magic Kingdom from now until October 31st. You can enter the park as early as 4 PM while you wait for the party to start at 7 PM.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Tickets range from $119 to $229, depending on the date. Dates closer to Halloween tend to be more expensive, and there is a limited number of tickets available each night. If there’s a date you’re looking forward to, make sure you book early!

Entering

Your party ticket allows you to enter Magic Kingdom at 4 PM, even though the party doesn’t start till 7 PM.

You can take this time to grab some food, enjoy some rides, or do anything else you like to do in Magic Kingdom.

Crowds

We entered around 4 PM, as soon as we could enter without a ticket, to see the crowds. Looks like a lot of people got the same idea! These crowds were INTENSE to say the least.

Now, when we arrived at rope drop, entering at 4 PM, the sun was BEATING DOWN on us, and it was pretty brutal, we won’t lie. If you’re attending the party and want to be one of the first ones there, you need to be ready to deal with some pretty extreme heat.

It was HOT waiting!

Finally, 4 PM hit, and the crowds were heading into the park! One of the first things you’ll pick up is your wristband, and it has to go on your right wrist. This is how Cast Members know you’re allowed to be in the park for the party! Now, if you’ve already been in the park all day, or before 4 PM, and you also have a party ticket, you can pick up your wristband from other areas in the park as well; you don’t have to go to the front of the park!

Crowds on Main Street U.S.A. were INTENSE with people rushing in to head to their favorite attraction, or get in line for merchandise. If you’re in the park around this time and aren’t staying for the party, or just want to stay away from the madness, we recommend avoiding Main Street at this time.

Crowds on Main Street!

We’ll keep updating throughout the party to track the crowds.

Prepare To Be SHOCKED by the Crowds at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Map

Don’t forget to pick up your party map!

The official Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party map

This will give you all the showtimes, character information, candy stop locations, special snacks, and everything you’ll need.

It shows you where to find everything

It’ll be your guideline for the night, so be sure to keep it close to your person at all times!

Trick-or-Treating

One thing we love is filling up our candy bags throughout the night. Make sure to grab a bag to fill throughout the night. You can find an official list of all the locations on the map.

Trick or Treat Bag!

You’ll pick up your bag at the very start of the party, and the good news? If you want to get as much candy as you can, consider bringing a larger bag if you plan to forgo the party’s smaller bag (or you can use both).

This year, one side of the bag features the iconic graveyard shovel dancers from the Haunted Mansion section of the Boo To You Parade, while the other side says “Boo To You” with Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes in front of the castle. We love it!

Food

We had been planning our treats for weeks, so we were thrilled to finally get our hands on them. We’ll keep on updating everything we eat here!

Full Spread

We’ve gotten to try a pretty incredible Skull Cake over at The Lunching Pad for $5.49 that’s PERFECT for banana and dulce de leche fans.

And if you’re looking for something savory and you don’t mind spice, look no further than the Buzzard Wings for $11.99 at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe!

Buzzard Wings

Consider us majorly impressed too by the Candy Corn Verrine over at Casey’s Corner for $5.99! The salted caramel flavor was impeccable and worked beautifully with the panna cotta.

Now, if you want pumpkin spice, look no further than the Pumpkin-spiced Funnel Cake Sundae for $8.99 at Sleepy Hollow. This thing is a pumpkin spice explosion in the best way, and we’ll be thinking about it ALL season.

There’s tons more where that came from, so stay tuned!

Merchandise

Did you really go to the event if you didn’t grab something to prove it? This year’s collection is exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so be sure to grab it during the event.

Spirit Jersey!

The one big thing we noticed about merchandise this year is that it’s VERY heavy on the Boo To You Parade and Haunted Mansion. Hey, we’re not complaining!

Haunted Mansion shirt

There are multiple different shirts available featuring Haunted Mansion characters like the gravediggers and Bride, but you’ll also find a shirt starring Stitch, as an Annual Passholder Shirt starring Mickey himself.

There’s also an Ornament you can grab…

…as well as a pack of Postcards!

What really blew our minds is that there are TEN pins/pin sets available this year. You’ve got Snow White, Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and more — better set that budget high, because these are going to be tempting!

There’s more where that came from though, so you definitely won’t want to miss out checking out the merch this year!

Characters

We LOVE meeting all of the characters in their Halloween costumes, as well as iconic Disney Villains! When you walk into the party, be sure to say hello to the one and only Cruella de Vil.

Cruella!

And stop by Town Square Theater to say hello to Jack and Sally, but beware of their high wait time! Over in Storybook Circus, you can also meet with Daisy and Goofy in their Halloween costumes, which we love.

We can’t wait to meet more characters throughout the night, so stay tuned.

Photo Opportunities

Get your camera ready, because there are plenty of fun photo opportunities to try! There are PhotoPass Cast Members around with special magic shots and some pop-up photo frames to try out.

Mr. Toad’s Photo Op

If you choose to add on Memory Maker to your trip, or to your day, take advantage of all the PhotoPass photographers around the park too!

Some of them even have Magic Shots you won’t want to miss!

Costumes

We love dressing up as much as the next person, but be sure to know the rules before heading to the parks. Both adults and children are allowed to wear costumes, but there are specific guidelines to follow.

We love a good costume

We spotted this family in Fantasyland — we love the Peter Pan vibes!
